The 33-year-old left Feyenoord for Inter Baku in Azerbaijan last January, but only made four appearances for the club before agreeing to dissolve his contract. ADO Den Haag have now moved to snap up the six time Netherlands international, who will play in the Hague for the next two years.
Schaken told the official ADO Den Haag website, “I want to play as much as possible and with ADO be successful. I know a little bit about the squad and the top half should be achievable in all cases, ”
Schaken started his professional career with Cambuur, before spells with Veendam, and VVV Venlo. With Feyenoord, Schaken enjoyed the best period of his career, scoring 18 goals in 136 appearances.
