Ibrahim Afellay thinks Ajax have too much mediocrity in their squad and have not replaced Hakim Ziyech.

Ajax are top of the table heading into the winter break, but Ibrahim Afellay is not impressed by the Amsterdam side.
Speaking on NOS’s Studio Voetbal, Afellay thinks Ajax have not found a replacement for Hakim Ziyech, who left for Chelsea, “Ziyech has turned out to be irreplaceable at Ajax.”
Afellay thinks that Ziyech’s creativity earned Donny van de Beek his move to Manchester United, “He was so important that Van de Beek could also force a transfer to Manchester United. He brought so much creativity. Ajax now has too much mediocrity. If they really want to participate in Europe again, they really have to continue buying. “
Theo Janssen agreed with Afellay, “Ajax is no better than last year. Kudus may have made the difference when he played. But Promes is not in shape, neither is Tadic. And so the team lacks creativity.”

Afellay is right with out a doubt, there is no replacement of the players that they left , but the club do not care about to win a trophy in europe and what the supporters feel about selling all the best players when the team start function they sell them and you need to start again from step 1, the think is already past 25 years to win a trophy in europe to win in the eredevise is nothing everyone knew there is no competion and this club not deserve this 25 years without trophy in europe ,❌❌❌
