The 20-year-old has been in and out of the Ajax first team this season, and has only played one 90 minute match in the Eredivisie, making six of his fifteen appearances from the bench.
Speaking to NPO1, Kishna’s agent Mino Riola believes his client should leave Ajax in order to progress, as the Amsterdam club do not understand his big personality.
Riola said, “I think his character is not consistent with what is being asked at Ajax.”
“Ricardo is a completely distinct and strong personality. I do not think, seen from a distance, that coach Frank de Boer and Kishna understand each other well. And then it becomes a problem.
“I think it’s better for his development that Kishna leaves Ajax. However, he will have to make that decision himself. I do not decide. I’m not a dictator.”
Overall this season Kishna has played 22 games for Ajax, scoring three goals and adding six assists. Kishna is under contract until 2016.
