Ajax made it four wins from four with a simple 4-0 win over ADO Den Haag at the Amsterdam Arena.

aja den haahAny chance that Ajax were tired from their 0-0 draw with Jablonec in the Czech Republic on Thursday were ended on 15 minutes when Davy Klaassen marched towards the ADO Den Haag box before cutting back for Anwar El Ghazi to sweep into the net. Five minutes later it was 2-0 as El Ghazi turned provider this time with a cut back from the byline for Davy Klaassen to arrow a shot into the bottom corner.

Ajax hadn’t conceded a goal in their opening three games, but their clean sheet record nearly came under threat just before the break as Jasper Cillessen clawed a Mike Havenaar header off the line.

In the second half Ajax extended their lead through Joel Veltman’s header, and El Ghazi added a fourth before the end with a simple finish from Milik’s ball across the box.

Ajax continue their march at the top and could be clear if champions PSV beat Feyenoord when the two sides meet later on Sunday.
