De Telegraaf are reporting that Ajax have already reached an agreement with Casierra on a five-year deal and are close to finalising a transfer fee with his club Deportivo Cali. The fee is believed to be around €5.5 million.
The 19-year-old is a quick and physically strong forward that has netted 12 goals in 38 league appearances for Deportivo Cali since making his debut last year.
Casierra is set to be a back-up striker for Ajax next season with the club still looking to re-sign Klaas jan Huntelaar as a possible replacement for Arkaduisz Milik, who is gaining interest from around Europe.
