Ajax dropped into the competition after failing to make it out of the Champions League group stages and their first challenge will be Spanish side Getafe.
Getafe currently sits fourth in La Liga and came through their Europa League group second, behind Basel, but ahead of Krasnodar and Trabzonspor.
AZ Alkmaar finished second behind Manchester United in their group and their reward is a tie with LASK Linz, who topped a group that contained PSV Eindhoven.
The first legs will take place on the 20th of February with the return a week later.
Ajax disappointed us by allowing Valencia to defeated them in the last round of Champions League.
