The 19-year-old centre-back has excelled since breaking into the Volendam first-team and is on the radar of all Eredivisie clubs including PSV, Ajax, Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar.
However, Molenaar has told NH Sportcafé that van de Ven will stay at Volendam next season, “Micky van de Ven is just nineteen years old. We scouted him at Fortuna Wormerveer. He has been in the youth of Volendam for a long time. He still has a three-year contract.
“The agreement is that he will continue to play with us in the coming season. That is best for his development, so that he can take steps.”
Van de Ven made 19 appearances in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie this season.
