The 21-year-old signed a three-year-deal with the Amsterdam club on Thursday, with Ajax believed to have paid €3 million for the young winger.
Ajax boss Frank de Boer was impressed by Younes during the recent U21 European Championships and has signed the German to provide competition for Anwar El Ghazi and Ricardo Kishna.
Younes made his debut for Borussia Monchengladbach in 2012 and made 26 Bundesliga appearances for the club, while spending last season on loan with Kaiserslautern. In the German second division, Younes made 14 appearances, scoring twice.
