Ajax have announced the signing of Australian midfielder Sebastian Pasquali on a two-year-deal.

The 17-year-old’s club Melbourne Victory had confirmed that Pasquali was set to move to Amsterdam in October, but the deal was finally sealed on Friday. Pasquali signed a two-year contract which will begin on the 1st of December.
Speaking to the official Ajax website, Pasquali said it was an easy choice to join the Eredivisie side, “The decision to come to Ajax, was not difficult.
“It is a club that has produced many big players like Johan Cruyff, Marco van Basten and Patrick Kluivert. Young players always get an opportunity that appealed to me the most. ”
Pasquali, who will start in Ajax’s U19 squad made three senior appearances for Melbourne Victory.
