Ajax have confirmed the signing of Brazilian winger Antony from Sao Paulo.

The transfer has been in the works for months and was finally confirmed on Saturday. Ajax will pay Sao Paulo an initial €15,750,000 with that fee potentially rising to € 21,750,000 through add-ons.
If the add ons are paid then Antony is officially Ajax’s record signing, surpassing the €16.25 million paid for Miralem Sulejmani. Daley Blind’s eventual fee could also be €20.5 million.
The 19-year-old made his first-team debut for Sao Paulo in 2018 and has made 33 appearances for the club, scoring three goals.
