Ajax has officially confirmed the signing of West Ham United striker Sebastien Haller on a deal until 2025.

Haller passed his medical on Thursday after Ajax agreed a club record fee of €22.5 million with West Ham United for the 26-year-old.

The fee is striking since West Ham United paid €50 million for the forward only 18 months ago when he joined from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Erik ten Hag gets the striker he has craved and is reunited with Haller, who he coached when in charge of Utrecht.

The Ivory Coast international started his career with Auxerre before joining Utrecht in 2015. He scored 98 goals for the Cathedral City club before departing for Eintracht Frankfurt in 2017.

Haller will wear the number 22 and could make his Ajax debut this weekend when they face PSV Eindhoven.
