Ajax has confirmed the signing of Utrecht right-back Sean Klaiber.

The 26-year-old is signed as a replacement for Sergino Dest, and has penned a deal until 2023 with the option of another year.

Klaiber will compete with Noussair Mazraoui for the starting right-back slot in Erik ten Hag’s defence.

The full-back came through the Utrecht academy and made 153 appearances for the club.
