According to AS, Ajax are in the race to sign São Paulo talent Igor Gomes.

Ajax have already added two new Brazilians to their squad for next season in Antony and Giovanni. According to AS, Ajax are not done with Brazil yet and have now switched their attention to Sao Paulo’s 21-year-old midfielder Igor Gomes.
The Brazilian youth international is referred to in his country as the “New Kaka” and reportedly has a €50 million release clause.
Ajax have already registered their interest with Sao Paulo, who sold the Amsterdammers David Neres and Antony. However, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla are also in the running for Gomes, along with several other clubs.
Gomes has made 31 appearances for Sao Paulo, scoring three goals.
