The draw for the third qualifying round of the Champions League was made on Monday morning with Ajax getting Greek side PAOK Salonika.

Ajax reached the semi-finals of the competition last year, but despite winning the Eredivisie they must overcome two qualifying rounds to reach the group stages.

The first obstacle for Ajax will be Greek champions PAOK Salonika, who raced to the league title last season undefeated and finished five points above Olympiacos.

The first-leg will take place in Greece on the 6th or 7th of August with the return in Amsterdam a week later.

Ajax have net PAOK in 2010 and 2016 with the Dutch club coming out on top on both occasions.
