Bosz is currently in charge of Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv, but De Telegraaf are reporting that Ajax have made him their number one target to replace De Boer, who announced his decision to leave at the end of the season.
Ajax are willing to wait until Maccabi Tel Aviv finish their league season in the next few weeks before swooping for Bosz, who has exit clauses in his contract.
Bosz has previously coached Heracles Almelo and Vitesse Arnhem. He left Arnhem for Israel in January, but after only six months looks set for a return to Netherlands.
