According to De Telegraaf, Ajax have made an offer for Sao Paulo’s attacker David Neres.

With Anwar El Ghazi set to sign for Lille and Bertrand Traore at the African Cup of nations, Ajax have prioritised the signing of a winger this month and their target appears to be Brazilian David Neres.
De Telegraaf is reporting that Marc Overmars has submitted his initial bid for the 18-year-old winger, who has been watched on several occasions by Ajax scouts.
Neres has made eight appearances for the Sao Paulo first team so far and the Brazilians have slapped a €20 million price tag on their young star. However, Ajax have already raised more than €20 million from the sales of Nemanja Gudelj and Riechedly Bazoer, with El Ghazi to rake in another €7 million from his move to France.
