Ajax have their first win of the season in the Eredivisie after hammering FC Emmen 5-0 in the Johan Cruijff Stadion.

Ten Hag decided to make changes from the side that drew with PAOK on Tuesday with Ravzan Marin and David Neres coming in for Perr Schuurs and Kasper Dolberg.

Ajax started brightly and hit the post within the first minute through Neres before Dennis Telgenkamp also denied the Brazilian.

In the 27th minute, Ajax broke the deadlock through Donny van de Beek, who found the net after being set up by Dusan Tadic. Van de Beek then turned provider to set up Ziyech early in the second half to make it 2-0.

In the 67th minute, Tadic added a third with a simple finish after Telgenkamp had denied substitute Quincy Promes.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar then entered the field for Tadic and quickly made it 4-0 with a convincing finish. That was his 350th club goal. The veteran then wrapped up the simple victory in the 88th minute.

A simple victory for Ajax who must now prepare for their crucial Champions League second-leg clash with PAOK on Tuesday evening. Emmen remain on zero points after two games.
