According to De Telegraaf, Lille OSC has made an offer for Ajax centre-back Sven Botman.

The 20-year-old made a good impression on loan with Heerenveen last season and recently signed a new deal with Ajax until 2023.
De Telegraaf is reporting that Lille made Ajax an offer that they thought was ‘almost impossible to refuse’ but Marc Overmars turned it down. The Ajax director has made a counter-offer but wants Botman to stay.
The situation is now win-win for Ajax. Either Botman stays or they receive a high fee for the defender, which they can reinvest in the squad.
Norwich City and Atalanta have also been linked with a move for Botman.
