The 21-year-old was originally signed on loan by Ajax until the end of the season, but the deal had a clause to make the signing permanent for a fee around €2.8 million. Today Ajax used that clause to clinch the striker’s signing from Bayer Leverkusen, with Milik putting pen to paper on a four-year-deal until 2019.
Milik has scored 23 goals in 33 appearances this season, and added ten assists for the 2nd placed Eredivisie side. The Pole has six goals in 15 caps for his country, but will miss this weekends tie against Utrecht after being injured last Friday against the Republic of Ireland.
