milikjaperMilik originally joined on a season long loan deal from German side Bayer Leverkusen, but the Amsterdam side have a clause in the deal which allows Ajax to purchase the 20-year-old in January for €2.5 million.

The Polish international is said to be more than happy to extend his stay in the Eredivisie, and his agents are believed to have already come to an agreement on a long term contract, with only a few minor details to be sorted.

Milik has netted an impressive 13 goals in 11 appearances for the Eredivisie champions this season, with six of those coming in the KNVB Cup win over JOS in September. At times this season, Milik has had to play second fiddle to Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, but the youngster’s superior games to goal tally should eventually see him become the number one forward at the Amsterdam Arena.
