Ajax have confirmed the signing of Midtjylland right-back Rasmus Nissen Kristensen.

The 20-year-old signed a four-and-a-half-year contract in Amsterdam after Ajax agreed a €5.5 million fee with Midtjylland.
The youngster has reportedly been on Ajax’s radar for some time, with the club deciding to sign him now to provide cover for Joel Veltman. Deyovaisio Zeefuik is set to be allowed to leave on loan while Luis Manuel Orejuela has failed to impress since joining in the summer.
Kristensen is a Danish U21 international, who has made 82 appearances for Midtjylland, scoring 7 times and providing 16 assists.
