Ajax can forget about signing Pierre-Emile Højbjerg this summer after Everton reportedly had a €22 million bid accepted by Southampton.

Earlier this month, Ajax were associated with a move for the midfielder, but the Dane preferred to remain in the Premier League.
According to The Daily Mail, Everton has now had a €22 million bid accepted for the 24-year-old, with an extra €5 million in bonuses.
Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be interested, but it looks like Everton has won the race for Hojbjerg.
