The three-day Under 17 tournament which takes place in Amsterdam started on Monday with Ajax coming through their semi-final with Anderlecht on penalties to book a place in the final against Bayern Munich.
An own-goal by Bayern defender Alexander Nitzl gave Ajax an early lead before Abdallah Aberkane scored from close range to seal Ajax their fourth Future cup win. It was the first time they have won the trophy since 2014 with Arsenal and Anderlecht winning the past two editions.
