Ajax have announced that midfielder Mohammed Kudus has suffered a knee injury and will be out of action for months.

The midfielder only lasted eight minutes of the 1-0 loss to Liverpool on Wednesday before having to be substituted.
After scans, Ajax have confirmed that Kudus has suffered a meniscus injury, which will keep him out until after the winter break.
It is a big blow for Ajax with Kudus starting the season in excellent form.

That is such a sad blow for him, and a major loss for the team.
And for us, because he is a star-in-the-making.
Can only hope, like VVD, he will come back even stronger.

Over 100 pros now, Kudus is just one of those who can play anywhere, from CM to CF & AJAX was a great move for him. Also has great character, hopefully he can get over this & won’t effect his pace.
I worry about that with VVD at his age some players have two ACLs & comes back like Callum Wilson others struggle from one & definitely lose a step of pace like Lanzini who was playing with Messi to losing that step of pace tho scored a stunner he has struggled.
