ADO Den Haag have announced that midfielder Roland Alberg is close to joining MLS side Philadelphia Union.

The transfer window in the United States is still open, and ADO Den Haag have announced on their website that Alberg is currently in the US to put the finishing touches on a move to Philadelphia.
Alberg has been a key member of the squad at the Kyocera Stadion in recent years, but he hasn’t been first choice in Henk Fraser’s squad this season, and with the signing of Kyle Ebecilio, ADO Den Haag are willing to let him leave.
Alberg started his career with Excelsior before a brief spell in Turkey at Elazigspor ended with the midfielder joining ADO Den Haag in 2013.
The 25-year-old has netted 16 times in 59 league games at ADO Den Haag.
