Jozy Altidore has revealed that he had contact with Feyenoord last summer over a possible return to the Eredivisie.

The 30-year-old striker played between 2011 and 2013 for AZ Alkmaar before joining Sunderland.
The now, Toronto FC striker has told Vice Sports that if he was to return to Europe, it would be to the Eredivisie, “When I go back to Europe, I want to go to a place like the Netherlands, a place where I know that there are good players around and people have the same idea about football.
