PSV Eindhoven defender Santiago Arias has signed a contract extension that will see him remain at the club until 2019.

The right back has been on excellent form for the Eindhoven outfit this season, featuring in all but 3 league matches thus far.
Arias has helped form the tightest defence in the Eredivisie, which has conceded just 17 goals in 22 games and sit a full 12 points clear of second placed Ajax.
With Champions League football set to return to the Philips Stadion next season, the act shows manager Philip Cocu has enormous confidence in Arias’s ability to perform at the top level.
Given the youngster has just turned 23 and featured three times for an impressive Colombia side during the World Cup, the deal marks a real signal of intent by the champions-elect.
