Voetbal International reporter Martijn Krabbendam expects Arsenal to make an offer for Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu very soon.

Kokcu has a contract with Feyenoord until 2023 and the club have been trying to extend the youngster’s deal, but have not managed to reach an agreement.

For months, Arsenal and Sevilla, along with Real Betis, have all been linked with the midfielder.

According to Krabbendam, Arsenal are close to making an offer, “It’s very serious. They have been working on it for a long time. This also applies to Sevilla, which is very interested. The transfer is slowly being prepared and then the offer must eventually come. That is not this week, but I expect Arsenal to come up with something, otherwise they would have done all that work for nothing. “

The VI reporter also thinks Feyenoord director Frank Arnesen is open to the transfer, “He can use the money in the composition of the new selection and thereby restore order.”
