The 19-year-old is in the final six months of his current Arsenal deal and could leave for free this summer, if he does not decide to sign the three-year-contract which is set to be offered to him by the Premier League giants.
Akpom is reportedly keen for more first team football and if he decided to leave Arsenal, the Englishman has pre-contract offers from Eredivisie duo Feyenoord and Twente, along with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund. Feyenoord and Twente both tried to sign the youngster during the summer, but he decided to stay and fight for his place.
The striker has made four first team appearances for the Arsenal this season, while he also spent short spells on loan with Brentford and Coventry City last year. Akpom was a prolific scorer in Arsenal’s youth sides.
