According to Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet Aston Villa have had a €2 million bid rejected for Ajax left back Nicolai Boilesen.

The Danish international is coming into the final year of his contract in Amsterdam and after the signing of Mitchell Dijks from Willem II, Ajax are open to selling their vice captain.
Ekstra Bladet are reporting that Aston Villa have made an offer of just over €2 million, but it has been rejected by Ajax who are holding out for an extra €1 million.
Boilesen joined Ajax for a small training fee from Brondby in 2009, but has been restricted to 52 league appearances after suffering several injuries.
