The draws for the last 16 of the Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League took place on Friday.

After PSV Eindhoven and Ajax were knocked out, Feyenoord are the last remaining Dutch side left in the Europa League.

They will now face Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk for a place in the last eight of the competition. Feyenoord topped their group which meant they skipped the playoff round, while Shakhtar defeated Rennes on penalties after a 3-3 aggregate draw.

The first leg is on the 9th of March before the return in Rotterdam a week later.

AZ Alkmaar also got to skip a round in the Conference League after they topped their group and they have been rewarded with a tricky tie against Lazio of Serie A.

Lazio already came up against Feyenoord in the Europa League this season, winning 4-2 in Italy but losing 1-0 in Rotterdam. They finished third in the group which saw them drop into the Conference League.

The first tie will be played in Rome on the 7th of March with the return 9 days later.
