AZ Alkmaar has confirmed the signing of Inter Milan defender Zinho Vanheusden on a season-long loan deal, with an option to buy.

AZ Alkmaar technical director Max Huiberts confirmed the Belgian’s signing last week but now the club have officially announced the deal.
Vanheusden was signed as a young age by Inter Milan but he returned to Standard Liege, where he made 76 appearances before the Italian side brought him back to the club in 2021.
Last season, the one-time Belgian international joined Genoa on loan but injuries restricted him to only 14 appearances.
