AZ Alkmaar have today posted financial losses of 3.1 million Euros for the financial year 2014-15.

The news is not all bad as the club can look forward to a return to black next year as the transfer fee’s of Steven Berghuis and Aron Johannsson are not included in the results.
The Club are also not helped by the fact that they have built a new training complex which has its own costs. However that will provide potential opportunities for extra income in the future.
This is what Robert Eenhoorn, Director of General Affairs had to say, “The operational profit, so the balance transfers and depreciation is still negative. We are working hard to change that, so that we become less dependent on outgoing transfers.
