AZ Alkmaar has confirmed the signing of Danish goalkeeper Peter Vindahl Jensen from FC Nordsjaelland.

AZ needed to sign a new goalkeeper after Marco Bizot departed the club for the French side Stade Brest.

AZ have paid around €1.8 million to sign Vindahl Jensen, who signs a four-year deal in Alkmaar. He takes the number one jersey.

The 23-year-old told the AZ website, “The Dutch league is highly regarded in Denmark.Β In addition, AZ is a large club with ambitions that appeal to me.”
