The draw for the Europa league play-off round took place on Friday with AZ Alkmaar paired with Serbian side Vojvodina.

europa leeeAZ saw of Greek side Giannina 3-1 on aggregate to reach the next round and will be in the group stages if they get past Vojvodina.

The Serbian side finished fifth in their league last season and reached the play-off round after a 1-0 win over Backa. The club have former Ajax winger Dejan Meleg under contract.

The matches in the final qualifying round of the Europa League are played on the 18th and 25th of August. AZ travel to Serbia for the first leg before hosting Vojvodina a week later.
