AZ Alkmaar have dropped two points after Go Ahead Eagles came from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw in the AFAS Stadion.

AZ had won their last four league games in a row and seemed to be strolling towards another three points against Go Ahead Eagles. Wout Weghorst had put the hosts ahead just before the break from the penalty spot and had doubled the lead early in the second half after an excellent cross from Illias Bel Hassani.
However, Sander Duits pulled one back for Go Ahead on 66 minutes with a vicious strike into the bottom corner and after Weghorst missed several chances to kill the game off, the visitors equalised just before the end. AZ goalkeeper Sergio Rochet could only divert a shot into the path of Sam Hendriks who fired into an empty net to earn an unlikely point for the Deventer club.
The point sees AZ stay fifth while Go Ahead are 15th.
