Zakaria Bakkali wants assurances over first team opportunities if he is to sign a new deal with PSV Eindhoven.

bakkali psvPSV Eindhoven expected the highly rated attacker to sign a new deal on his 18th birthday in January, but as of yet there has been no agreement. Bakkali’s current contract runs until 2015.

According to Eindhoven Dagblad, Bakkali wants first team football assurances if he is to commit his long term future to the club, having only featured once in the last 11 league games.

Bakkali is quoted by ED saying, “For me it’s the first team, I want to play.I want to continue to grow, but not this way.”

The young Belgian is considered to be one of the finest talents in Europe, and should he decide to leave Eindhoven then there would be no shortage of interested clubs. The likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal have all been linked.
