Dutch left-back Mitchel Bakker played the full game as PSG defeated Saint-Etienne 1-0 in the final of the Coupe de France.

The 20-year-old had featured from the start in all PSG’s recent friendlies and he kept his spot in the side for the cup final.

Neymar gave PSG the lead in the 14th minute before Saint-Etienne were reduced to ten men for a horror challenge on Kylian Mbappe by Loic Perrin. The French star was injured and was pictured leaving the dressing room using crutches.

Despite playing for an hour with a man advantage, PSG failed to add to their 1-0 lead, which didn’t matter in the end as they sealed the trophy.

Bakker played the full game for PSG and will be hoping to stay in the side for the upcoming Coupe de la Ligue final with Lyon next week and the Champions League ties in August.
