FC Barcelona held a press conference on Saturday to announce several tributes to the late Johan Cruyff who died last year from cancer.

A year-and-a-day after the Dutch footballing legend sadly passed away, Barcelona have announced that a new stadium will be built for their youth teams, which will be named after Cruyff. A statue of the former winger will also be placed next to the stadium.

A special memorial hall will also be built in the clubs museum which will feature a Ballon d’Or and Barcelona shirt worn by Cruyff which have been donated by his family. The Spanish giants have also asked the Barcelona city council to rename a street after Cruyff.
