According to Catalunya Radio, Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is still a target for Barcelona.

Wijnaldum has been a target for Barcelona since Ronald Koeman took charge of the club, but with their limited finances a deal has been difficult.

However, Barcelona have sold a number of midfielders now and with Riqui Puig also set to depart, there is now some room for Wijnaldum.

According to Catalunya Radio, Barcelona are still planning to make a late move for the Dutch international before the transfer window shuts.

Wijnaldum reportedly wants to stay at Liverpool, but only has one year left on his contract and it appears unlikely that an agreement will be reached on a renewal. The arrival of Thiago has also raised doubts on whether Wijnaldum will still be a first-choice for Jurgen Klopp too.

Barcelona are also working on signing a new striker with Memphis Depay top of the wishlist.
