According to Sky Sports, Barcelona are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum but are yet to approach Liverpool.

Algemeen Dagblad reported Barcelona’s interest in the Liverpool midfielder on Wednesday morning, with Ronald Koeman keen to bring in the Dutchman as he overhauls the Catalan club’s squad.
Sky Sports is now reporting the interest but adds that Barcelona are yet to make an official offer for the 29-year-old.
Wijnaldum is happy at Liverpool but is coming into the final year of his contract with the club, and talks over a new deal have not yet taken place. Liverpool’s reported interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago could also push Wijnaldum towards the exit door.
Wijnaldum joined Liverpool in 2016 for £25 million and has made 186 appearances since, scoring 19 goals.
