The 28-year-old left Ajax for Barcelona 2016 but has played second fiddle to first choice goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Bayern Munich have been following the Dutch international for a while as they seek an alternative to Manuel Neuer. The Bavarians were interested in Ter Stegen, but have been put off by his €170 million release clause. Cillessen would be a much cheaper alternative for the Germans with his release clause only €60 million.
However, Bayern Munich would face competition from Manchester United and Chelsea, who have also been looking at Cillessen should either of their goalkeepers decide to leave.
Cillessen has made 19 appearances for Barcelona.
