Riechedly Bazoer is hoping to get a Netherlands call-up after an impressive start to the season with Vitesse Arnhem.

Bazoer has shone for Vitesse Arnhem since changing his position to centre-back at the start of the season, and Ronald De Boer recently put him forward as an option for the Dutch national team.

Speaking to Fox Sports, Bazoer is hopeful on a recall, ” It is going well. I have to try to hold on to that form, hopefully, that invitation will come again soon. Whatever position the trainer needs me in, I will do my best.

Bazoer has six international caps to his name but the last came in April 2016.
