According to La Capitale, Feyenoord are showing serious interest in appointing Hein Vanhaezebrouck as their new head coach.

Feyenoord are looking for a new coach to replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the summer and failed with an approach for Dick Advocaat recently.

La Capitale is reporting that Hein Vanhaezebrouck is now being seriously considered by Feyenoord.

The 54-year-old is currently without a club after leaving Anderlecht last year. He made a name for himself by leading K.A.A Gent to the Belgian Championship in 2015.

Henk Fraser and Maurice Steijn are the other names being put forward to replace van Bronckhorst, while a second approach for Advocaat isn’t being ruled out.
