Watford loanee Steven Berghuis is hoping to remain with Feyenoord next season.

The winger barely featured for Watford last season but has rediscovered his form after joining Feyenoord on a season-long loan deal and has played a major role in the clubs title challenge.
Speaking to AD, Berghuis openly stated that he wants to remain in Rotterdam next season instead of sitting on the bench in the Premier League.
He said, “I’m open to a longer stay and the Feyenoord club is exactly the same.
“I do not want to fall back to a season where I possibly will play very little, like in my first year in the Premier League. All of that was extreme.
“I feel I’ve done very well here. This is what Steven Berghuis can do. My confidence is huge. I’ve said before that I have a wide smile every day at De Kuip. I want that next season.”
