The Eredivisie have declared PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn as the player of the month for February.

The 20-year-old has had an excellent month for PSV, culminating with a goal and assistin the 3-1 win over Feyenoord on Sunday.
In 424 minutes, the winger has created 10 chances, completed 16 dribbles, scored three goals and added one assist. He beat off competition from AZ midfielder Fredrik Midtsjo and Angeliño to the player of the month award, which is calculated using OPTA stats.
He becomes the third PSV player to win the award this season after Hirving Lozano and Gaston Pereiro. Steven Berghuis (twice), Zakaria Labyad and Jonas Svensson have also claimed the prize.
