Steven Bergwijn scored his second goal in the Premier League but Tottenham Hotspur slipped to a 3-2 loss at home to Wolves.

Tottenham had the lead after only 13 minutes when Dele Alli’s shot was parried into the path of Bergwijn and he made no mistake with his finish from close range.

It was Bergwijn’s second goal since joining Tottenham in January, but it did not set his side on path to victory.

Matt Doherty equalised for Wolves before Serge Aurier restored Tottenham’s lead with an excellent strike on the brink of half time.

Diogo Jota made it 2-2 in the 57th minute before Raul Jimenez won it for Wolves.

Tottenham now sits seventh in the table and are clearly missing the goals of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son.
