The 30-year-old returned to Rotterdam last summer on a one-year deal, and the midfielder made 34 appearances for the club.
Feyenoord have been locked in talks with Fer trying to get him to sign a new contract. The expectation was that Fer would extend his stay in Rotterdam, but Voetbal International reported earlier this week that a club from Turkey was hoping to pinch the Dutch international.
According to Turkish journalist Ertan Süzgün, Besiktas is the club hoping to sign Fer, and they can blow Feyenoord’s offer out of the water. It now remains to be seen whether Fer wants to stay in Rotterdam or take another adventure abroad.
