The 30-year-old attacker signed a six-month contract with the Spanish side in the summer and has surprised many by scoring four times in eleven league games.
Deportivo were keen to extend his stay, but Babel has decided to leave and explained to Marca it is because he has not seen his family for the past three months.
On his future, Babel stated he doesn’t know where he will end up, but he has offers from three clubs including Besiktas. He said, “On that I have not yet decided. I still talk to my agent. There is an offer from Besiktas and two other clubs.”
Babel is grateful to Deportivo, “I’ve enjoyed my time at Deportivo. I did not expect to get a chance in the Spanish League. ”
Marca believe that Babel is almost certain to sign for Besiktas, who have made the former Ajax and Liverpool forward an excellent financial offer.
