bjellandThe 25 year old has been linked with a move away from De Grolsch Veste Enschede as the club seek to achieve financial stability.

According to Borlife German Bundesliga outfit FSV Mainz have bid €3 million for the Danish International but that is about two million short of what the Tukkers want.

Had the transfer gone ahead Bjelland would have reunited with his former manager Kasper Hjulmaand, who managed him at FC Nordsjaelland.

Since joining the club the former Lyngby youth player has made 39 Eredivisie appearances for the club.

Bjellend remaining at Twente means that central defensive partner Rasmus Bengtsson is almost certain to leave.
